Most of the critical reviews here are people who couldn’t get these things installed. I just received mine. The quality of this product is great. Installation itself is not hard (the protector is protected by two screens), but be very careful. I installed the first on my wife’s phone and it worked fine. Superb product.

On my own phone, however, I kept getting tiny specs of dust, and thus had to keep cleaning and reapplying the protector. When I finally got it done, it failed to stick around the main button, ear piece and top right corner of the phone. I will continue using it simply because the feel and safety of this protector is second to none, but want to let people know to be very careful during installation! Hopefully my next round will go smoother.

I’m just amazed at how seamless these guards went on both my wife’s and my phone. I’ve tried several other brands and the children could easily peal those away which would coat the inside with dust ruining them. These fit quite tightly around the contour of our iPhone 3Gs, and maybe I just got lucky, but no bubbles!

I think you have to follow the instructions and anchor the sheet in the lower left corner of the phone with your thumb and then make sure it is properly aligned before pushing down with the included card. When I did this, I ended up with only two small bubbles near the ear piece, and I was able to squeeze those out the opening there.

I would say that this class of guard varies in stickability, scratch resistance, and finger texture. This particular one seems quite good at the former, is pretty good at resisting scratches and has a little too much friction than I’d prefer but not horribly so.

I have frustratingly used other shields to protect my iPhone 3G and no matter how diligently I followed directions and cleaned the screen I was left with bubbles and peeling corners. I forced myself to acclimate to this sorry condition until applying the Krypton Screen Armor Ultra-Clear product. Perfectly sized for my phone, it went on easily and I have a perfectly clear view of my iPhone screen. Not a single bubble. Although not inexpensive, if this shield lasts a reasonable time, it will be money well spent.

whenever you take the sticker off the film it leaves a sticky residue behind in the top left corner…i tried to get off but no luck…has anyone else had this problem? some instructions would be nice also..so far i feel like i just threw my money in the garbage…

This screen protector was a breeze to install. The only issue I have is the screen case I purchased fits so tightly it causes air pockets on the side. When I replace this screen protector I will use a paper cutter to cut a little off each edge. The air pockets are on the top and bottom and not on the screen so it is not really that bad.
