Connect iPhone to MacBook Pro

can not understand: I installed the latest 3.0 on my iphone 3G, I have a mac book, and I can not pair my iphone bluetooth, when it appears on the iphone SIM code, and I confirm that there it says “can be paired with macbook”. How can I connect iphone to macbook pro using bluetooth. Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you for your help.

I have exactly the same problem. I use the option connection sharing with my MacBook Pro but the iPhone and the Mac are not connected when it is paired. When I try to connect, the connection is made during one second and then shuts off. I should mention that the bluetooth on the Mac is “detectable” and the “Bluetooth Sharing” is enabled.
